Prefigurations Opening Night
On the 9th of June Prefigurations: an Exhibition on Architecture and Transition will open its door for the first time. On the occasion of the festive opening of the exhibition, a public event is organised to debate the future of our living environment and the role of architects and architecture in this.
A public lecture by curator Hanne Mangelschots and a panel discussion with, among others, Veronique Patteeuw (curator IABR, researcher KULeuven / ENSAPL), Bart Biermans (HUB architects) and Liesbeth Bultinck (Ghent Municipality) will introduce the story of the exhibition and the forty selected practices.

The opening days of the exhibition are part of the New European Bauhaus festival in Brussels. The Future Places Forum is set up in collaboration with the International Architecture Biennale Rotterdam. Prefigurations is part of the summer program of Brussels 2030. With the support of the Flemish Government and the Brussels Capital Region.
